Siddharth Choudhary makes drawings, paintings and sculptures using a hybrid of digital and classical techniques. He works with new technologies such as computer drawings, digital sculpting, 3D printing and digital imaging along with painting. His new series of paintings, “Along the Way '' started as quickly sketched line drawings on iPad which he transformed into multi-layered paintings on canvas using modern synthetic pigments in polymer. Choudhary has been leading a nomadic life. Over the past decade, he has lived in several countries across different continents. He distills his experiences to examine social, cultural and political dimensions of criss crossing international borders. Choudhary has a wide range of artistic influences that include Philip Guston, Jean Dubuffet, folk art of Madhubani paintings in India and hand painted Hindi movie posters and calendars. 

Choudhary was born and raised in India. He has a bachelor’s degree in science from University of Delhi and a master’s degree in visual arts  from Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University (2015). Choudhary has exhibited in the United States, Hong Kong, China, Switzerland and in India. Choudhary was a resident at Vermont Studio Centre, he received the Presidential Scholarship at Anderson Ranch Arts Centre, Hong Kong's Pure Art Foundation grant for the visual arts and Art Oxygen’s grant for public arts in Mumbai, India. He was the 1st runner up at the 2014 Hong Kong Human Rights Arts Prize. Choudhary lives and works outside of Boston, MA.
