Rosie Ranauro

Rosie Ranauro uses her work as a way to connect her intuitive self to her body, and incorporates touch, play, and repetitive action into her work to allow for this connection to take place. Ranauro’s work is created in a cycle of movement, documentation, looking and painting, resulting in a work that exists somewhere within the alchemy of physical action and finished painting.

Rosie lives and works in Boston, MA, and holds a BFA in Painting from Massachusetts College of Art and Design ’11. She has shown locally and internationally, and is currently an artist in residence at the Boston Center for the Arts.
